TD SUMMER READING CLUB
Experience Aurora’s beautiful parks as you enjoy a summerstorywalk. Installations will feature a page from the bookThe Thing Lou Couldn’t Do by Ashley Spires. As you walk through the park, you can also walk through the story!
Library staff will visit each location on selected dates from 2:00 - 4:00 pm with fun activities and to celebrate summer reading.

1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARDEN
Join the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten reading challenge and build your child’s early literacy skills to help them be ready when they start school.
It’s never too late to start! Reading together will help your child develop a love of books and start to create a reading habit for life.
Just one book per day for their first three years equals 1,095 books.

PANDEMIC PEN PALS FOR KIDS
APL is now offering Pandemic Pen Pals - a great way to earn volunteer hours while helping an elementary school student with their reading and writing, as well as penmanship or typing skills.
Letters from kids will transmitted via Library staff to ensure appropriateness and to protect the privacy and contact details of both
